Nature Walk
Already attracting interest from our visitors our nature walk is an ongoing project.
Seven thousand native trees have now been growing for over seven years and provide a natural backdrop to the lavender fields.
Nature signs are placed round the walk to help with identification of the wildlife to be spotted. Birds, butterflies, trees and insects feature on our signs providing an interesting and educational dimension to your walk.
A gentle meander round the perimeter of our twelve acre site will reveal a natural attraction. Seats are strategically placed so you can sit awhile and take in the stillness.
The wild flowers we have planted are slowly naturalizing adding to the overall visual experience.
Almost every week during the season a different wildflower will emerge to identify and delight.
Over the next few years our aim is to increase our stock of wildflowers and add to our nature trail.
Mainly accessible for all, there are one or two slight inclines but fairly flat throughout.
